3 Issues Faced By Teachers In An Educational Environment!

Steven Biczel

Teachers get to face a number of problems when they have to manage a classroom full of students. Since all humans are different and think differently, it is not easy to develop an understanding of all the students. Many teachers express their discontent while they have to manage big classrooms with little resources. This article is going to highlight the issues faced by many teachers:

Teaching Large Classes

It is a major issue to teach a large class for both educators and understudies because of various inadequacies, many leading experts have identified three of them which are as follows. To begin with, it is difficult to manage the class in large classrooms. Second, the educator-student relationship is affected adversely, particularly with the students who shy to ask any question in the class which they were unable to understand. Instructors' utilization of time for checking, arranging, and evaluation is a risky issue in large classes. Teachers pay high attention to several issues faced by the students and they believe

Focus on written skills:

Teachers' written feedback on the writing skills of students mainly focuses on superficial problems like grammar and vocabulary, paying no attention to other important features like content and organization. The teachers need to focus on the ideas and creative aspects of the students instead of only focusing on grammar and vocabulary. The comparison of two groups of students, one receiving semester-long instruction while the other, only one set of written comments reveals that extra feedback and instruction resulted in greater improvement in organization, argumentation, language correctness, and complication.

Teachers’ state of mind:

Teacher’s' state of mind towards teaching is viewed as a contributing element to their prosperity and efficiency in teaching. Generally, teachers fail to balance their professional and personal life and this affects their state of mind. This state of mind may have come about because of a few reasons: huge classes, lack of paper composing syllabus, absence of good collegiality, lack of skill and information, and the multi-componential nature of article composing. Teachers must be trained properly in order to have clarity and a clear strategy to teach their students.
